Withstanding
This photo is one of 6 from my Lone Tree project. I found this tree in the Bighorn National Forest amongst others nearby that were probably killed off by beetles. Most had fallen, some had burned, but this one was still standing tall. I really like the rugged looks and tenacity of this tree. Even after death it stood tall and displayed it’s scars proudly.
